Heather Harmon Obituary

Heather Dawn Harmon, 76, of Oxford, KS passed away at her home on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Per Heather’s wishes, her ashes will be spread at a waterfall. Memorial contributions may be made to the Oxford Christian Church, donations may be left in the care of the Oxford Funeral Service.

Heather was born on April 20, 1947 in Clevland, OH, to parents Charles and Marie (Devlin) Dunham. She attended high school in Phoenix, AZ. Heather was united in marriage to Vernon Harmon. She was a stay-at-home mother and enjoyed watching old comedies, being social, getting coffee with her friends, playing canasta, her cat Elvis, and attending the Oxford Christian Church. The most important thing in Heather’s life was her faith and family, she loved spending time with her family, going to the zoo and traveling together. Just being with them was her greatest joy.

Heather is survived by her children Alvin Clampitt, Amy Alcorn (Dan), Lisa Whitley and Melissa Brown, grandchildren Brian West, Brandon Clampitt, Brady West, Amy Clampitt, Shane, Heather Hectis, Dawn Hectis, and Dallas Hectis, and numerous great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Charles Dunham, sister Laurell Cantor, and great-grandson Allen West Jr.
